FUEL ELEMENT TRANSPORTER

Pioneer 10 spacecraft,launched in the 1970's, has attached to it a gold anodised aluminium plaque on which is etched a drawing that describes something about life on Earth. 'Fuel Element Transporter' is my version of it. Here I am interested in fiction portrayed as fact,using a medium (etched metal plaque) that is often used to convey something factual/historical. Etched aluminium.

This piece is an experiment with the visual language found in 'How-To'instruction manuals and technical documents. 'C DIAGRAM' relates to information overload, icon energy and the chain reaction of symbolism. Etched aluminium.
